DESCRIPTION:“Harmonizing Diverse Worldviews”\nFeatured Speaker: Ymasumac Maranon Davis\nYmasumac Maranon Davisis a writer\, educational consultant\, and university lecturer with a deep connection to her Quechua and New England heritage. Raised among the Mayan people of the Yucatan Peninsula\, her work explores intersection of culture\, language\, and spirituality. A doctoral candidate in Education for Social Justice at the University of San Diego\, Ymasumac’s research focuses on oral storytelling as a counternarrative and the coexistence of diverse ways of knowing in educational spaces. She is an adjunct lecturer at California State University\, Fullerton\, and a course designer for the Wilmette Institute.
