The La Verne Symphony Orchestra (LVSO) proudly announces its Fall/Winter 2025 Concert.
Under the baton of Dr. Sylvia Lee Mann, LVSO Music Director and Conductor, this inspiring program features two distinguished piano soloists: University of La Verne alumna Austine Shu, and ULV Music Department Chair Dr. Grace Xia Zhao. Ms. Shu will perform the brilliant final movement of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 22, while Dr. Zhao will offer the luminous second movement of Rachmaninoff’s beloved Piano Concerto No. 2.
In addition to these featured works, the orchestra will present a vibrant and diverse program showcasing musical voices across eras and continents, including Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, Carol Brittin Chambers, and Mikhail Glinka. The concert promises an afternoon of elegance, energy, and symphonic excitement.

The La Verne Symphony Orchestra is a University of La Verne ensemble founded in partnership with the local community.
