Speaker: Bill Stevenson, MBA ’11, Adjunct Professor of Finance, University of La Verne and Cal State San Bernardino
Speaker Bio
Professor William Stevenson has been teaching financial literacy to high school and college students, small business owners, and other groups for over 10-years. Based on his belief that everyone can succeed financially he authored Good Company, Smart Company, Jump Start, and several other financial literacy presentations. He has over 35-years of experience working with individuals and small to mid-size business owners as a commercial banking officer and manager.
William received his Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University San Bernardino and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of La Verne. He received formal commercial credit training from a major financial institution following college and was active in commercial lending to businesses until his retirement in 2018. Apart from senior lending positions with several banks, William has been a small business owner, an active board member for several charities and organizations including the YMCA, CSUSB Philanthropic Foundation, UEC, several Chambers of Commerce, and others. William is currently an Adjunct Professor of Finance at California State University San Bernardino and the University of La Verne where he has taught a variety of personal and business finance classes.
