- Question Where do I purchase tickets?
- Answer
We encourage you to pre-register for all events, both paid and free, here. If you are unable to pre-register, please visit the check-in table in front of Founders Hall to purchase same-day tickets.
- Question What kind of payments do you accept the day of the event?
- Answer
We accept cash, credit cards, or checks. Please make checks payable to The University of La Verne.
- Question What if I lost/failed to bring my registration sheet?
- Answer
No worries. The check-in table will have your name on the final registration list.
- Question What happens if it rains? Will the event be canceled?
- Answer
Events are planned to take place rain or shine. Should a severe weather event be forecasted, we would announce a cancellation a few days before the weekend.
- Question I bought a ticket but can no longer attend! Can I get a refund?
- Answer
Full refunds are available if cancelled by Monday, October 1.
- Question How does tailgating work this year?
- Answer
We are keeping it simple: no cars, first-come first-served, gates open at 2:00 pm. No reservations are required, since we have double the parking stall space we had pre-pandemic. We’ll have food trucks with food and ice cream available for purchase. The event is BYOB (bring your own beverage) and BYOG (bring your own gear). Beer and wine only, no glass please! If you’d like some where to sit, please bring your own pop-up tent, chairs, coolers, etc. or feel free to roam!
IDs will be checked at the gate and also in advance at the Info Booth located in front of Founders Hall. We strongly recommend an early ID check to save yourself from waiting in long lines. Wristbands will be given to all those 21+ and university security will be present to monitor the area. Under 21? You may enter the tailgate too, and are also warmly welcome to join in the fun – alcohol-free.
- Question What’s the parking situation?
- Answer
All University of La Verne parking lots, including the parking structure, will be open to all, free of charge, from Friday at 7:00 pm until Sunday at 7:00 pm. You will not need a permit during this time. We strongly encourage the use of the parking structure on Saturday between noon and 8:00 p.m. The City of La Verne is hosting the Old Town La Verne Beer Walk on Saturday, October 15, so street parking will be limited. If the parking structure should fill up, parking will be available in the Shuttle Lot S, located at 1925 A Street, La Verne, during this time. Shuttle buses will run continuously to and from campus at approximately 20 minute intervals from noon until 8:00 pm. Please note there is no overnight parking in Shuttle Lot S and gates will close promptly at 8:00 pm.
- Question OK, where are the university lots located?
- Answer
Please see the University of La Verne campus map to locate our parking structures. You can also visit the University’s Transportation and Parking Services website for additional information.
- Question Will pets be allowed at any of the events?
- Answer
With the exception of service animals, no pets are allowed inside any University of La Verne building. Your four-legged friends are free to attend the outdoor events, however, please be a responsible pet owner and clean up after your pet.
- Question Who should I contact with questions?
