Internationally renowned author and essayist Pico Iyer will be the featured guest at the University of La Verne’s second Influential Voices Speaker Series. Iyer will be discussing: “Envisioning a Future in the Post-Pandemic World.”

Iyer is the author of 15 books, translated into 23 languages, on subjects ranging from the Cuban Revolution to the Dalai Lama, and from Islamic mysticism to globalism. You may have seen him interviewed by Oprah Winfrey and Larry King, heard him with Krista Tippett, or read him in liner notes for Leonard Cohen, or in 250 periodicals worldwide, including constant articles (for more than three decades now) for Time, The Los Angeles Times, National Geographic and Smithsonian. His four recent talks for TED have received 11 million views so far.
