Welcome to the University of La Verne’s RiseTogether Mentorship Program! Are you looking to connect with experienced professionals in your field? Do you want to become a mentor or are you in search of a mentor? We’re here to help! RiseTogether is designed to help you navigate your career journey with the guidance of accomplished alumni.
About our Mentorship Program
The Office of Alumni Engagement in collaboration with the Center for Multicultural Services is delighted to work with you through the RiseTogether Mentorship Program (RTMP). Our goal is to foster meaningful connections between alumni who have excelled in their careers and current students or recent graduates. Through mentorship, we believe in creating a strong network of support and growth.
How It Works
- Application: Alumni interested in becoming mentors can apply by completing a mentorship interest form.
- Matching: Our team carefully matches mentors with mentees based on their career goals, interests, and expertise.
- Guidance: Mentors and mentees connect virtually or in-person to set goals, discuss career paths, and receive valuable insights. We invite our mentors/mentees to connect via our online networking platform, Leo Connect.
- Duration: The mentorship program typically lasts for one academic year with regular check-ins and interactions. We invite mentors/mentees to review the Mentorship Agreement together in order to establish a scheduled that works best for both parties.
